In 1887, Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. built the Old Taylor Distillery in Millville, KY, a landmark that became the birthplace of bourbon tourism. Closed during Prohibition and left in r uin for decades, it was revived in 2014 when the property was purchased and restored as Castle & Key. After years producing contract distillations, vodkas, gins, and rye, the distillery released its first bourbon in 2022. This wheated bourbon, aged five years and bottled from 49 barrels, reflects Castle & Key’s return to bourbon-making with a balanced, approachable style. Show more
