With six design variations, you can make it your own: views B and F include a button placket, while views C and D have a clean neckline finish. Whether you’re sewing a versatile everyday blouse or a more detailed statement piece, the Celine Blouse is feminine, floaty, and easy to wear. Pattern difficultyThis pattern is best suited for experienced beginners. The blouse is designed without darts or zippers, allowing for a comfortable and forgiving fit. You’ll sew gathered fabric pieces, finish seams with bias facing, and attach delicate ruffle details. French seams are used throughout for a clean finish, but they’re optional if you prefer another seam finishing method. If you choose views B or F, you’ll also construct a button placket, adding an extra level of skill. Fabric recommendationsThe Celine Blouse is designed for woven, lightweight fabrics that offer softness and drape while maintaining structure. Ideal choices include cotton lawn, voile, lightweight linen, or soft poplin. The sample is made from an ivory linen blend, 140 gsm.
