I make these coasters with Ash lumber that I get from a local mill. I like Ash because it is local to my area, not too hard on the blades, and the light color is good for contrast engraving. Each coaster is 3.75 inches square and 5/8" thick. This is beefier than most coasters which are usually 1/4" to 1/2". But I think the heft is classy, and worthy to be called queer. The bottom features the T4Timbers logo. Each piece has four waterproof cork "feet" in various colors. They are finished with Odie's water-resistant hard wax. Wipe them off if they get dirty or handwash with water and/or soap. Please don't put them in the washer. Show more
