From Friuli's premier Collio area, and only made in the best vintages, Cjarandon is a classic right-bank Bordeaux blend of 65% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. Aged 20 months in Allier barriques (60% new, 40% second use) and a further 10 months in the bottle, it is full of black cherry fruit with spice and mint, the palate fresh and focussed with a long finish.
