Criante’s Grillo comes from their vineyards further inland, in Almaco, where clay vineyards are farmed organically and fermented naturally in stainless steel. No fining or filterin g here just a bold expression of fruit and place. The 2023 shows citrus and stone fruit with a subtle saline edge, bright and extremely refreshing but with enough texture to hold its own at the table. Makes a great companion for antipasti, Mediterranean vegetables and a variety of seafood or pasta dishes. But honestly, a bowl of olives and a picnic blanket is all this wine needs. Show more
