Forrest Hibbits This 1933 graphite on paper figure study is by California artist Forrest Hibbits (1905-1996). Hibbits graduated from the California College of Arts and Crafts. He e xhibited at SFMOMA, the de Young Museum, the Oakland Museum of Art, and the Legion of Honor. Hibbits worked as a commercial artist at Patterson & Sullivan, a San Francisco ad agency in the 1920s-1930s. 1933 Graphite on Paper 12"x17.5" unframed Estate stamped lower right.
