By the time of the Iraq War, many M2A2 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles had been fitted with explosive reactive armour (ERA) tile kits bolted to the hull and turret to defeat rocket-propelled grenades and shaped-charge threats encountered in urban combat. The added ERA bricks gave the already boxy Bradley silhouette a distinctive tiled, angular look that became a familiar sight in Iraq and other post-2003 deployments. Dragon's 1/72 kit reproduces the M2A2's hull, turret and 25mm cannon armament alongside individually moulded ERA tile parts, letting modellers recreate the vehicle's up-armoured combat configuration with the fine surface detail Dragon's small-scale armour is known for. The set includes hull, turret, running gear and ERA tile components, a decal sheet for US Army markings, and assembly instructions. A fitting subject for a 1/72 Iraq War-era US mechanised infantry display alongside other Dragon Bradley variants.
