Quick Facts: ABV: 40% | Origin: United States | Style: Ultra Premium Vodka | Size: 1.75L Production & Heritage Declaration Ultra Premium Vodka is positioned as a handcrafted American vodka with an emphasis on refined distillation and filtration to achieve its notably clean character. Specific details regarding the distillery facility, still type, and base grain or ingredient have not been widely published by the brand. What the finished product communicates is a commitment to neutral purity — the hallmark of any vodka that earns an "ultra premium" designation through texture and cleanliness rather than heavy flavoring or additives. Tasting Notes Aroma: Light and fresh on the nose, opening with a gentle grain-like sweetness and a faint whisper of citrus. The overall impression is restrained and neutral, with no harsh alcohol burn on approach. Taste: The palate entry is soft and creamy, with an exceptionally smooth mouthfeel that coats without heaviness. Mid-palate, a subtle mineral quality emerges alongside a balanced, silky texture. There is no sharp bite or astringent edge — the spirit reads as carefully filtered and well-integrated. Finish: Ultra-clean and brief, fading with a refreshing, almost water-like purity. No lingering bitterness or burn, leaving the palate neutral and ready for whatever follows. How to Drink Declaration Vodka The 1.75L format signals that Declaration is built for regular use, not shelf display. Served chilled and neat, the spirit's creamy texture and clean finish are most apparent. Its neutral profile also makes it a strong cocktail foundation: Vodka Martini: The silky mouthfeel carries dry vermouth cleanly without competing for attention. Moscow Mule: Declaration's neutral backbone lets ginger beer and lime dominate while adding smooth body to the drink. Cosmopolitan: The clean finish keeps the cocktail crisp, allowing cranberry and citrus notes to shine without any grain harshness. Declaration Ultra Premium Vodka delivers a clean, silky profile with a soft, creamy texture on the palate and a refreshingly neutral finish with no harsh bite. How does Declaration Vodka compare to Tito's Handmade Vodka? Both are American vodkas emphasizing smoothness and handcrafted production, though Tito's is corn-based and distilled six times in copper pot stills in Austin, Texas. Declaration positions itself as an "ultra premium" expression, leaning into an especially clean, neutral profile versus the slightly sweet, rounded character commonly associated with Tito's. Is Declaration Vodka good for cocktails? Its neutral aroma and ultra-clean finish make it well-suited for cocktails where other ingredients should lead, such as martinis, mules, and citrus-forward mixed drinks. Where is Declaration Vodka made? Declaration Ultra Premium Vodka is produced in the United States, though the brand has not widely publicized the specific distillery location or state of production. What foods pair well with Declaration Vodka? Chilled smoked salmon or caviar canapés complement the spirit's creamy texture; briny oysters highlight its clean minerality; light sushi rolls work well alongside the neutral finish; and fresh fruit with soft cheese creates a refreshing contrast to the smooth mouthfeel. What sizes does Declaration Vodka come in? The 1.75L bottle is a widely available format; a standard 750ml size is also commonly offered by the brand. Is Declaration Vodka worth the price? Declaration positions itself in the upper end of the everyday premium tier — priced above standard well vodkas but aimed at drinkers who want a noticeably smoother pour without crossing into luxury bottle territory, making the 1.75L format a practical value for regular use. Why Declaration Vodka? Declaration Ultra Premium Vodka fills a straightforward role: a clean, smooth American vodka with enough textural refinement to drink chilled and neat, and enough neutrality to disappear into cocktails without distortion. The 1.75L format reinforces its identity as a workhorse spirit rather than a limited collectible. For drinkers who evaluate vodka by what it doesn't do — no burn, no off-notes, no harsh grain character — Declaration delivers a polished, quietly competent pour that earns its "ultra premium" label through restraint and cleanliness.
