Quick Facts: ABV: 40% | Origin: United States | Style: Ultra Premium Vodka | Production: Handcrafted Production & Heritage Declaration is an American-made vodka that leans into a handcrafted production ethos, prioritizing purity and a refined mouthfeel over flashy marketing. While the distillery behind Declaration has not been widely publicized, the brand's emphasis on precision distillation and clean filtration aligns it with the growing wave of small-batch, quality-focused American vodkas. The resulting spirit is designed to deliver a neutral, ultra-clean profile with enough textural character to stand on its own or disappear seamlessly into cocktails. Tasting Notes Aroma: Light and fresh on the nose, opening with neutral grain tones that give way to a faint whisper of citrus. The aromatics remain restrained and clean, never assertive — characteristic of a well-distilled vodka. Taste: The entry is exceptionally smooth, with a soft, creamy texture that coats the palate without heaviness. At mid-palate, a gentle sweetness emerges alongside a silky, almost velvety mouthfeel. The overall impression is balanced and refined, with no harsh edges or grain burn. Finish: Ultra-clean and pure, fading with a refreshing quality that leaves no lingering bite. The finish is short to medium in length, with a soft smoothness that encourages another sip. How to Drink Declaration Vodka The velvety texture and neutral character make Declaration well-suited for sipping chilled or over a single large ice cube, where its silky mouthfeel is most apparent. For cocktails, this vodka's clean profile makes it a capable base spirit: Vodka Martini — The neutral, refined character lets dry vermouth and a lemon twist take the lead without interference. Moscow Mule — The smooth, bite-free finish allows ginger beer and lime to shine while adding a creamy backbone. Espresso Martini — The soft sweetness and velvety texture complement coffee liqueur and fresh espresso, adding body without grain harshness. Both are American-made vodkas that emphasize handcrafted production and a clean, smooth profile. Yes — its velvety mouthfeel, absence of harsh bite, and ultra-clean finish make it a comfortable neat pour, especially when served well-chilled or with a single ice cube. Where is Declaration Vodka made? Declaration is produced in the United States. Chilled oysters complement the spirit's clean, briny-friendly neutrality. Smoked salmon or cured gravlax works well alongside the creamy texture. Fresh sushi and sashimi pair naturally with a pure, bite-free vodka. Caviar on blini is a classic pairing that lets both the food and spirit express their subtlety. Light goat cheese crostini balances the vodka's soft sweetness. What sizes does Declaration Vodka come in? Declaration Ultra Premium Vodka is available in the standard 750ml bottle format. Is Declaration Vodka worth the price? Declaration positions itself as an ultra-premium American vodka, placing it above everyday mixing vodkas but within the range of craft-oriented, quality-driven expressions. For drinkers who prioritize a silky, refined mouthfeel and clean neutrality, it represents a purposeful step up from standard-tier options. Why Declaration Vodka? In a vodka category crowded with brands competing on origin stories and celebrity endorsements, Declaration stakes its claim on texture and purity. The velvety, creamy mouthfeel is genuinely distinctive — many vodkas promise smoothness, but few deliver it with this level of tactile refinement. As a handcrafted American expression, it reflects a domestic craft movement that prizes distillation quality over flash. For anyone building a premium home bar or looking for a vodka that performs equally well in a Martini glass or a rocks glass, Declaration earns serious consideration.
