White earthenware soup plate from German battlecruiser 'Moltke' 1910. It is printed on the border in blue with a German Imperial crown. The plate was recovered from the seamen's me ss when the ship was salvaged in 1927 after being scuttled at Scapa Flow on 21 June 1919.
