An earthenware plate commemorating the launch of the USS 'Enterprise' 1960. Printed in brown with a view of the vessel at sea in the centre inscribed 'U.S.S. Enterprise'. The plate has a cross hatched printed border inset with shields on which are depicted seven earlier ships of that name with stars, stripes and tridents on the cross hatching.
