Class A Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) provides new and upgrading commercial motor vehicle drivers with the federally mandated theory instruction required to obtain a Class A C ommercial Driver’s License, in accordance with 49 CFR Part 380, Appendix A. This program covers driver qualifications, basic operation, safe operating procedures, advanced vehicle systems, hours of service, wellness, and regulatory compliance.
