A porch light that sits flush and quiet Where the rest of the Chapel range hangs off a wall or a post, the Flush Lantern sits square against the ceiling itself, so there's nothing to catch a low doorway or bump against as you pass underneath. The four ribbed panels fan out from a small square jewel at the centre, giving the light a bit of movement even before it's switched on. Black frame, ribbed panels The die cast frame is finished black and holds four textured polycarbonate panels rather than plain glass, so the light that comes through has a soft, striped quality instead of a single hard glow. How it works One E27 bulb runs the whole fitting, so you choose the character, a warm filament glow or a crisper LED, and it fits into a compatible dimmer switch if the bulb itself is dimmable. Where it works best Ceiling mounted and built for outdoor use, it earns its keep over porches, under canopies and along covered walkways, anywhere a wall lantern would get in the way but you still want black ironwork detailing overhead. Part of the Chapel range It shares its black finish and cast detailing with the wall, post and pillar lanterns in the Chapel family, so it can be used to finish off a porch that already carries the range elsewhere on the house.
