The Enigma Code Carbon is a fully carbon lightweight paddle with a mid-sized blade, adjustable length and feather making it a fully versatile paddle suitable to most paddlers and useful in a range of kayak types. Available in two different lay-ups; Red, glass fibre blades, Carbon, full carbon blades, both come with a narrower carbon shaft for maximum comfort for all paddlers. The Code Carbon comes with a mid-sized, high angle, di-hedral blade, a classic touring shape which suits paddlers of all ability. It is great for touring, sea kayaking and kayak fishing (particularly with the longer lengths). The blade design offers smooth operation with reduced drag and minimal blade flutter, the carbon blade on the Code Carbon also makes it a touch lighter and stiffer than that of the Code Red. The mid-sized paddle face makes it more comfortable and suitable for most paddlers, particularly those who wish to maximise a consistent cadence (tempo) over the course of a day, however still has ample catchment on the water to drive the kayak forward in a short sprint or race. The paddle comes with an easy to use, corrosion resistant lever-lock adjustment clamp which makes for simple adjustments when out on the water, even in gloves or with cold hands. The feather can offer infinite adjustment for a truly unique paddle. This coupled with the adjustable length, from 215cm-225cm, results in a paddle which can sensibly be shared by people and works well for a variety of different kayaks and it remains easy to adjust in changing conditions. Supplied with a paddle bag, the Enigma Code is easy to split into its two pieces and offers some protection for storage and transportation.
