Deep Artisan Movement: Escalas Ocean Scallop Glazed Tiles Evoke the serene beauty of the deep Mediterranean with the Escalas Ocean Scallop Glazed Tiles, an exquisite collection that brings organic form and artisanal texture to your interior walls. Taking its name from the Spanish word for "scales," the Escalas collection is handcrafted by a small artisan producer in Spain. These 15.5x17cm glazed tiles feature a distinctive scallop or "fish scale" shape, creating a rhythmic, wave-like pattern across your walls. The Ocean colourway is a rich, muted blue, enhanced by a subtle crackle glaze that provides exceptional visual depth and character. With a 9mm thickness and a glossy finish, these tiles reflect light beautifully, making them a perfect choice for creating a luxurious focal point in bathrooms, shower rooms, or as a decorative kitchen splashback. It must be sealed with a high-quality penetrative sealer before and after grouting to prevent staining within the cracks. Grout Joint: We recommend a 1.5mm grout joint. Selecting a neutral or matching soft grey grout will create a seamless, unified surface that emphasizes the scale shape. Cleaning: Maintain the glossy finish with a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid abrasive scouring pads or aggressive chemical cleaners that could damage the delicate glaze over time. Visit Our Ascot Showroom Standard delivery is typically 3-5 working days.
