Eton 4 Flat Panel Oak DoorThe Eton is a clean four flat panel oak door, its panels set square with no applied moulding, so the face keeps the classic Victorian four panel layout in a calm, contemporary way. It is one of our Victorian oak doors, and it is faced in oak veneer over a solid core, so the pared back look comes with natural oak grain and warmth.It is supplied unfinished and ready to hang once treated, in a wide range of standard heights and widths at 35mm and 40mm thick, each with a trimming allowance of up to 16mm on every edge. The solid core gives a more substantial, better insulating and stable door than a hollow core, and it sits neatly against oak skirting and architrave in the same tone. The oak veneer is FSC certified and the door carries a 10 year guarantee against manufacturing defects.The square set panels give it an easy crossover character, at home in a period room yet just as settled among our modern oak internal doors when you want one look run through the house.The Eton hangs on standard hinges and takes a lever handle, so you can match the ironmongery from our door handles and hardware.Being unfinished, the door needs sealing on all faces and edges before it goes into use, then topping up from time to time to keep it protected.
