Photographed in a beautiful abandoned 19th century church in Italy, not far from Venice. This church was closed over 60 years ago and since then slowly vegetation has engulfed a large area of the Romanesque-Gothic structure. I had to be as quiet as a mouse sneaking in here, as we were entering the twigs snapping underfoot and tiles crunching actually made quite a lot of noise. Then a calmness once I'd found my composition after fighting through the vegetation. It was so serene just taking this all in while I was taking the exposures.
