About the Victorian 4 Panel Unglazed Oak Door This door reworks the classic Victorian four-panel layout with flat panels and square-profile beading for a cleaner, more contemporary feel. It is supplied unglazed with removable glazing bars, so you can fully customise the glass design and let in as much or as little light as you like. A matching full-panel version is available if you prefer a fully solid door. Handcrafted solid oak Made to order in the UK from selected prime-grade European oak using traditional construction methods, for a stunning, durable oak door. The door is 44mm thick and available in four standard sizes, with bespoke sizes on request. Glazing The door is supplied unglazed with removable glazing bars, so you can fit your own glass, clear, frosted or leaded, to suit your home and the light you want. Finishing & Care This door arrives prefinished and ready to hang, professionally finished to bring out the oak's natural tone and grain. Like any external oak door, it is best fitted in a sheltered spot, under a porch or canopy, rather than fully exposed to driving rain or strong sun. Timber is a natural material and can move a little as it settles in; the occasional minor adjustment is a normal part of looking after a solid oak door. Oak Weather Bar We also supply an Oak Weather Bar to match, which will be needed if the door is open to the elements.
