Fiddes Transparent Polish also known as Special Pale Polish, gives a slight amber tint once applied. It also has excellent self-levelling properties. Fiddes Transparent Polish can also be used as a sealer on denser hardwoods, or as a binder when mixed with Spirit or Earth Pigment Powders. If necessary, it can be thinned with Finishing Spirit or Methylated Spirit. Fiddes Transparent French Polish is recommended for use on Fine Furniture, Doors, Cabinet Work and Panelling. Apply as many coats as needed to achieve the desired finish. Use a P320 or 400 grit abrasive to flatten off between coats. Once fully dried a high gloss finish can be achieved with the use of Burnishing Cream.
