White Polish is almost colourless once applied and is typically used on lighter woods such as Ash, Sycamore and Chestnut. Made from bleached shellac, it is traditionally used to provide a fine finish whilst maintaining the existing colour of the wood. If required, it can be thinned with Finishing Spirit or Methylated Spirit. As with all Fiddes Shellac Polishes, it can be used over Fiddes complete range of wood stains, dyes and shellac sealer. Apply as many coats as needed to achieve the desired result. Finish with a final coat of clear Fiddes Supreme or Mellow Wax to further enhance and protect the finish.
