The Fjord collection is inspired by the landscapes formed between land and sea. Clear blue bodies of water combine with craggy cliffs and trees, translated in a glazing technique created by Michael. The dinnerware comes with a 24k gold rim. 3.5" D X 4.5" H Ceramic With a gold rim, hand washing is recommended, and the dinnerware is not microwave safe. When he graduated from NYU in 1991 with a degree in clay sculpture, he didn't know what to do for a living, so he sold his handmade wares in street fairs and craft shows around New York City on weekends, carting his wares on a handtruck on the subway. Now Michael Wainwright USA sells to stores big and small across the country, and Michael thinks he has finally figured out what he wants to do in life.
