Jilly Frances is a multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto, whose work moves fluidly between painting, drawing, and poetry. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a postgraduate diploma in Art Therapy, and over the years has drawn on diverse professional experiences, from art-therapy and installation design to collaboration with lifestyle brands, to inform her intuitive, deeply personal artistic practice Jilly sees herself as someone attuned to the “residue of daily life”: the shifting sky, the subtle dance of light and shadow, fleeting gestures, and quiet moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed. Her work seeks to hold those ephemeral fragments in resonance — to draw out what often goes unseen or unremarked, and to forge a sense of permanence out of the transient. The artworks we've curated here are open edition print reproductions from her original watercolour paintings.
