Fosroc Lokfix E77 is a pure epoxy formulation offering the highest performance within the Lokfix anchoring range. Its extended gel times allow for more complex anchoring procedures, and the waterproof cured resin protects the embedded fixing from corrosion and prevents water penetration into the substrate. Like all Lokfix products, it does not apply expansive force to the substrate, allowing closer fixing spacings and edge distances than mechanical anchors. The cartridge is re-usable to the end of its original shelf life by replacing the sealing cap. Unlike the polyester and vinyl-ester based E35S and E55S, the E77 uses a 3:1 ratio side-by-side cartridge requiring a dedicated 3:1 application gun rather than a standard skeleton gun. It is also tested and approved for use with diamond-drilled boreholes, making it suitable where percussive drilling is not appropriate. Load calculations must always be undertaken by a suitably qualified engineer. Typical applications include, heavy duty anchoring of threaded rods into cracked and uncracked concrete , and post installed reinforcement and tension anchors, fixings in seismec zones (C1 & C2), intenal and external submerged installations as well as achoring into solid masonry and hollow bricks and diamond drilled borehole applications.
