The only Premier Cru in the François Secondé range, Sermiers sits just west of Sillery on the Montagne de Reims, and it is here that the domaine grows the Pinot Noir that contributes to the Brut Grand Cru. As a single-village cuvée, Sermiers gives voice to this specific Premier Cru terroir on its own. Partially vinified in oak, like La Loge and Puisieulx. A champagne that completes the terroir portrait of this domaine by stepping outside the Grand Cru classification for the first time. Tasting notes: Pinot Noir character with the earthy, structured depth of the Premier Cru Sermiers terroir, complemented by the subtle complexity of partial oak ageing. On the palate: full and textured, with a mineral finish. Food pairing: A gastronomic champagne with food ambition. Excellent with roasted poultry, duck, earthy mushroom dishes and firm aged cheeses.
