General Purpose Knife Crafted from carbon steel, this general purpose/everyday carry style knife can be used for a variety of tasks and is lightweight for carry on a daily basis. T he blade is both acid etched and stone washed. The timber handle is River Totara. Totara is plentiful on shingly river flats and is prized highly because of the remarkable qualities of its timber. The heartwood is very durable and the Maori's found the wood could be readily split and shaped with primitive stone tools for canoes, building, and carving. This knife does not come with a sheath. However, a custom leather sheath may be purchased separately from our online store.
