Traditional back seam (Se-tsugi) construction for improved fit and durability. Fully sashiko-stitched below the waist for enhanced strength and structure. Deep front overlap helps keep the kendo gi securely in place during practice, reducing shifting and opening. Pre-washed (washed finish). 100% cotton. Made in Japan. Care Instructions Hand wash only using a gentle pressing motion. Do not use detergent. Wash separately, as the indigo dye may transfer color to other garments. Because natural cotton and authentic indigo dye are used, gradual shrinkage will occur after washing. Expected shrinkage is approximately 2–3 cm after one year of regular use, occurring gradually with each wash.
