Serial is 86XXX from 1956. Halda typewriters are made in Sweden and not many manufactured of this beautiful typewriter. Although many believe that Ernest Hemingway used Royal typewriters, it is well known that he loved typing on Halda portable that looks a lot like the Royal Quiet Deluxe typewriter. His last book was typed on a Halda typewriter as well. Mechanical condition: Professionally restored to Perfect working order. Fitted with a purple ribbon on original HALDA spools. Platen is not new but not bad. Did not need to replace. Cosmetic condition: Like all our typewriters, it was genuinely restored & serviced. Main marks are on its front sides. Comes with Original carrying case. locks on the left lock but the right one is not working and not secure as the key was damaged inside it. Will still hold the typewriter. Keyboard & Font/Typeface: QWERTY Keyboard Rare Double Gothic Typeface 11 pts per the inch.
