The twin glass panels sit side-by-side, each diffusing light from its own G9 bulb to produce an even, softly glowing effect rather than visible point sources. Designed for hallways, stairwells, bedrooms and bathrooms (dry zones only, IP20), the compact 250mm length fits into narrower wall spaces where larger wall lights would overwhelm. The 90mm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall, making it suitable for circulation areas where deeper fittings might obstruct movement. The dimmable G9 bulbs allow the light output to be adjusted from accent to functional depending on the time of day and room use. The Halox takes two G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. G9 LED bulbs between 3W-5W (equivalent to 30-40W halogen) are common for this fitting and give sufficient output for hallway or bedroom use. Check the maximum wattage rating on the label inside the fitting before installing bulbs. Is it suitable for bathrooms? The IP20 rating means it is suitable only for dry zones in bathrooms, typically zone 3 or outside the designated bathroom zones entirely. It cannot be used in zones 0, 1 or 2 where water contact is possible. Can it be dimmed? Yes, provided you use dimmable G9 bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. Not all G9 LED bulbs are dimmable, so check the bulb packaging before purchase. What fixing method does it use? The wall plate is fixed directly to the wall using screws and wall plugs (supplied).
