Aged in 200L American Oak ex Bourbon casks for a minimum of five years, the whisky then sees secondary maturation in French Oak barriques that had Tasmanian Pinot Noir aged in them . This secondary maturation in French Oak ex Tasmanian Pinot Noir casks adds beautiful red berry notes and a unique Tasmanian influence to the malt. Rich and full, boasting vibrant notes of raisin toast, stewed fruits and candied orange with a hint of clove, our signature Double Cask is approachable in style and a whisky you’ll keep coming back for. The aromas of candied oranges lead to stewed fruits, sultanas and a clove whisper. The palate is subtle cinnamon, spice, & cereal hints.
