The Hudson Electronics - Broadcast is a Class-A germanium preamp based on a classic broadcast consoles from the 1960s. Toggle between a low and high gain with the switch on the f ront. Lower gain setting adds sparkling clean boost to a transparent overdrive. Push your amp with a healthy does of volume (especially at 24v). High gain pushes your tone into fuzz territory, but with organic and vintage richness from the selected Germanium and Silicon transistors and the specially chosen TRIAD Magnetics steel-core transformer.
