Hunter DUAL-2 is a two-station decoder designed for use with Hunter I-Core controllers. It brings two-wire decoder technology to irrigation systems, letting installers run multiple zones over a single pair of wires for faster, lower-cost installations. Compatible: Works with I-Core controllers via DUAL48M decoder module; not compatible with other controller families. Extended range: Supports two-wire paths up to 7,500 feet (2.3 km) and decoder-to-solenoid distances per Hunter specifications. Durable: IP68 submersible rating and rugged weatherproof enclosure for buried or valve-box installations. Field programmable: Program station addresses at the controller or with the Hunter ICD-HP handheld programmer. Diagnostics & features: Solenoid finder, flow monitoring capability, and factory-installed SmartPort when used with I-Core. Approvals & warranty: UL/cUL, FCC, CE and RCM approvals; two-year limited warranty from manufacture date. Note: Hunter announced the DUAL decoder family was discontinued in 2024; Hunter recommends EZ decoders for ICC2/HCC controllers and ICD decoders as replacements for certain legacy systems.
