Imbolc is the mid point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox, and falls on February 2nd. Historically, it was a time where wheat and grains were the remaining food stores and ewes were near birth, and beginning to lactate. This Sabbat is most closely associated with the goddess Brighid, who is tied to fire, metal working, crafts, health, and livestock. Imbolc is a time of purification, protection, and cleansing. It is a great time to clean your home. It is also to best time to work with fairies, as the fairy realm is closest on this day. I carefully hand chose these crystals to help any rituals and celebrations with Imbolc. They can be used all together or individually throughout the winter season. This crystal kit includes: High Grade Lepidolite Slice: Lepidolite is the stone of fairies, so of course using this stone during Imbolc can be wonderful! It is also a stone of calm, sleep, and peace, and can help us during this quiet time. Carnelian Tumble: A stone of health, energy, and fire, everything Brighid represents. Carnelian is fantastic to have near when struggling with the winter blues. Sunstone Tumble: As the days increase and the sun becomes more present once again, it can symbolize the hope and energy we feel as Spring nears. Sunstone is a wonderful representation of this! Clear Quartz Tumble: A master stone that can amplify the energy of any other stone nearby. On its own, clear quartz is also wonderful for purification and cleansing. Golden Sheen Obsidian Tumble: A stone that is known for helping those who work with it to "wake up", this is a more powerful variety of pure black obsidian that brings motivation, energy, and confidence! Aventurine Tumble: The color of Brighid's cloak, and also a representation of the coming plants that you may start seeing during this time. Aventurine can help us connect to the Earth and her plants.
