Plaster cast of a fabulous Ionic pilaster capital. Theatrically proportioned decorative elements in high relief. Marvellous historical patina and scale. Cast from a rare early 19th century French antique plaster cast. Dimensions (cm): Height 22, Width 55, Depth 10. To the rear, hand-initialled and stamped with the Alexander Griffin maker's mark and fitted with brass-wrapped steel-core wire for wall hanging from a single screw / nail / hook.
