DescriptionThe Jobe Valves Vortex float valve is a float operated valve for use in automatic filling of water tanks, troughs, cisterns etc. The valve is configured for above water mounting. The float operates a small pilot valve which in turn operates the main diaphragm valve. The inlet of the float valve should match your supply plumbing. For instance if your supply plumbing is 1" you will get no better performance from a 2" valve. Your flow rate will always be limited by the smallest pipe. Always match your float valve inlet size to your water supply pipe size.
