Seriously textured wide-plank oak hardwood flooring The Kahrs New Texture Collection offers a vintage old-world wide-plank look with an oiled, heavily brushed and hand-scraped texture. It has a rustic grain pattern with knots and cracks of various sizes that reflect a dedication to preserving the natural beauty and craftsmanship of wood floors. The DIY patented Woodloc interlocking system makes installation a snap, saving you time and money. This product must be oiled after installation and prior to use. Kahrs is the original floating hardwood floor made in Sweden. It has a 150-year track record of quality, beauty and environmental stewardship, and this series pays tribute to the founding family members behind this great company. This collection is constructed using the Kahrs patented parquet multi-layer technology, with three separate layers and a total thickness of 5/8” (15 mm). The surface layer is 1/8” (3.5 mm) thick, allowing Kahrs Original floors to be sanded up to two times — thus allowing several generations to enjoy this beautiful floor. NOTE: This floor should NOT be Steam Mopped. Steam Mopping may damage this floor. The Kahrs Texture Collection is made to the highest standards of health, which exceed both California CARB2 and European standards for toxic emissions in adhesives and finishes. All of Kahrs hardwood products use materials from sustainable sources certified either by FSC or EMAS in Europe. NOTE: This product includes very large sound, black knots and cracks. Knots and cracks will be present in all sizes and numbers and not all of them filled. This is part of the design of these floors. All naturally occurring wood color variations are allowed, from light to dark brown and some sapwood may occur. The product will continue to develop their rustic character after the floor has been installed. Splits and cracks that occur in the floor after installation are normal, and should be considered part of the timber's natural behavior.
