These Oak Bun Door Knobs have been turned from solid wood and finished with a peeriod flower rose. An exact replica of a period original taken from a house in Edinburgh. These door knobs are made from an African hardwood with similar characteristics to Oak, extremely hard wearing with a lovely natural finish. Both the door knob and the rose have been distressed slightly to give a real aged feel, adding to their authenticity. Please note surface markings should be expected. Rose finishes: Polished Brass Unlacquered Polished Nickel Antique Brass The door knobs are Unsprung, so you will need a lock or latch that is suitable for use with unsprung door knobs and has backset of 75mm or more. Supplied with matching fixings. The screws supplied are hand finished, so please take care when fixing. Always use a pilot drill.
