Additionally, they can be used as the primary subwoofers in a commissioned home theatre, either mounted behind an acoustic-transparent screen or in another room. The Cyclonix 12 has adopted its design from the subwoofer components of the MX-10 system, forgoing the acoustic absorbing material on the front face and replacing it with an available black cloth grille. The 12" bass driver contains a 2" voice coil and ventilated magnet system. Dual down-firing vents are tuned for optimal sound output, while special Krix rubber feet provide acoustic isolation in hard or soft flooring. This subwoofer requires an additional amplifier connected to the LFE output of any AV processor or receiver for optimal performance.
