The Lee #3 Saskatoon is a cross between the Northline and Pembina Saskatoon varieties, known for its tasty berries that are perfect for enjoying fresh or for use in cooking and preserving. The berries are 1.4 cm (1/2") in size and reach their peak ripeness in early July, giving us an earlier saskatoon harvest and extending our season. Shrub remains compact and tidy and is great for homeowners with smaller yards and for planting in food forests. Begins to produce fruit from three to five years of age.
