Lee #8 is a highly flavorful Saskatoon, developed from a cross between two well-known varieties, Northline and Thiessen. It produces very consistent crops and high yields of tasty berries. The Lee #8 berries are large in size with averages of 1.6 cm (1/2") and will ripen in the middle of July. Shrub remains compact and tidy and is great for homeowners with smaller yards and for planting in food forests. Begins to produce fruit from three to five years of age.
