My most soothing herbal tea -- this is the tea that I want if I have a sore throat, indigestion, headache, or any other ailment. Lemon Myrtle is an herb from Australia, and the aroma is like lemon drop candy. The taste is naturally sweet. The peppermint is very much in the background, but its mild presence adds just the right dimension to the aroma, mouth feel, taste, and health benefits. The ginger is not bitey, but instead, adds just enough warmth to bring it all together and soothe your throat and warm you up. I usually drink this hot, but it is also a refreshing iced tea. This tea is a good value -- it is very light-weight so you get a lot of cups out of each package. Ingredients: Lemon Myrtle, Ginger, Peppermint Tasting Notes: Lemon Drop, Sweet, Soothing, Warm Steep: 2 tsp of tea for every 12oz water. Water temperature: 205. Sweetener entirely optional. Steep time 4 minutes. Approximately 30 tsp in a 1 ounce package.
