You can use 2 or 4 of the channels for subwoofers and the rest for your full range speakers. The configuration options are amazing with this amplifier. There are not many marine amplifiers on the market with this much power. Other brands out there will rate their amps at thousands of watts but in reality are only a hundred or 200 watts. But this Rockville amplifier is legitimate and will produce or exceed its rated power. To prove the power; you can check the fuse rating. This amplifier is equipped with an 80A fuse. To proe the power; you can look at the fuse rating. A general rule for 12 volt amplifiers is if you multiply the fuse rating by 10 that is close to the real power you will get.
