Antifreeze and Coolant Concentrate - red, extended-life engine coolant concentrate for the cooling system, supplied in a 1 litre container. The fluid is ethylene glycol based and i nhibited with organic acid technology (OAT). It contains no nitrites, amines, phosphates, borates or silicates, making it suitable for the aluminium castings, brazed aluminium heat exchangers and elastomer seals used throughout modern cooling circuits. Mixed at 50% with clean water it protects against freeze damage down to -40°C and provides corrosion protection for the engine water jackets, radiator, heater matrix and pump. At the correct concentration it gives an extended service life of up to five years or 250,000 km in passenger car use. Intended for year-round use. Do not blend with conventional silicate or hybrid-inhibited coolants: mixing dilutes the inhibitor package and shortens the service interval. Show more
