Description The M5Stack SERVO2 Module is a stackable 16-channel servo driver for M5Stack motion-control projects. Built around the PCA9685 16-channel PWM controller, the M5Stack SERVO2 Module can drive up to 16 servos through I2C while keeping the host wiring compact. The M5Stack SERVO2 Module supports a 6 ~ 12V DC power input through an XT60 connector and uses two SY8368AQQC step-down chips for servo power output. Its adjustable I2C address range from 0x40 to 0x47 allows multiple SERVO2 modules to be stacked when a project needs more channels. Notes When driving servos, power the M5Stack SERVO2 Module externally through the DC interface. For main controllers with power management chips, such as Core2 or CoreS3, configure the M5-Bus power mode as input during program initialization. The dual-channel output supports up to 35W total power, while a single-channel output supports up to 25W. When powered by a battery base, the maximum supported output is 5V/2A. Features 16-channel servo control: the M5Stack SERVO2 Module uses a PCA9685 PWM controller for simultaneous multi-servo control. I2C stackable design: the address can be adjusted from 0x40 to 0x47 for stacked module setups. External servo power input: 6 ~ 12V DC input through an XT60 connector. Power output design: dual-channel output up to 35W total, with single-channel output up to 25W. Independent power control: onboard power switch and power indicators support clearer power management. Product List 1 x Module13.2 Servo2 1 x XT60 Power Cable, 11.5 cm Other Content The M5Stack SERVO2 Module communicates with the host through I2C at address 0x40 by default. The address can be changed with the DIP switch, making it possible to use several SERVO2 modules on the same bus. For reliable servo operation, size the external power supply for the connected servo load and keep the power wiring separate from low-current host logic. Use the onboard power switch to control the module power state during setup and testing. Resources M5Stack SERVO2 documentation FAQ What does the M5Stack SERVO2 Module do? The M5Stack SERVO2 Module is a 16-channel PCA9685 PWM servo driver for controlling multiple servos from a stackable M5Stack host. How many servos can it control? It can control up to 16 servo channels. What power input should be used for driving servos? Use the external 6 ~ 12V DC input through the XT60 connector when driving servos. Can multiple SERVO2 modules be stacked? Yes. The I2C address can be adjusted from 0x40 to 0x47, so multiple modules can share the same I2C bus. What is included in the package? The package includes one Module13.2 Servo2 and one 11.5 cm XT60 power cable.
