United States Army Machine Gun Barr Criteria: The Machine Gun Bar is presented upon completion of the weapons qualification course along with one of the three Army Weapons Qualific ations Badges. Weapons Qualification Badges are issued in three levels (in ascending order): Marksman, Sharpshooter, and Expert.
