Test first, then press according to the pack directions using a fabric-safe setting no higher than two dots. Hoop the supported fabric securely, with the fabric uppermost, and embroider. Madeira’s guidance gives approximately 10–15 seconds for adhesion, depending on the fabric. Carefully lift excess backing outside the embroidered area and cut it away. Hold the stabiliser, not the fabric, and leave support beneath the stitches. Unlike Cotton Stable, Super Stable is a permanent cut-away. Do not tear it from the embroidery or use it where the finished project requires all backing to dissolve. Good to know Is it the same as Super Strong? Both provide cut-away support, but Super Stable has an iron-on coating. Super Strong is the non-fusible option. Can I use it on heat-sensitive fabric?
