Mag-Float Cleaning Magnet (Small) Floating Glass Cleaning for Aquariums up to 30 Gallons The Mag-Float Cleaning Magnet (Small) removes routine algae from glass aquariums without requiring the user to reach into the water. Moving the external handle guides the abrasive internal cleaning section across the inside surface while the soft outer pad moves smoothly over the exterior glass. If the magnetic sections separate during cleaning, the internal section floats for convenient retrieval instead of falling onto aquarium gravel, sand or decorations. The compact Float-Small design is sized for aquariums up to 30 gallons with glass panels no thicker than 3/16 inch. Mag-Float Small Glass Cleaner Features Floating internal cleaner is easy to retrieve if magnetic contact is lost Removes aquarium algae without submerging hands in the water Strong neodymium rare-earth magnets provide controlled movement through glass Compact cleaning surface is easy to manoeuvre around smaller aquariums High-grade ABS housing is suitable for freshwater and saltwater systems Cleaner can remain attached to the aquarium between maintenance sessions Can be guided carefully around aquarium corners Compatible with the optional Mag-Float scraper accessory sold separately Mag-Float Small Specifications Manufacturer model: Float-Small Manufacturer item number: 00030 Recommended aquarium size: Up to 30 gallons Maximum glass thickness: 3/16 inch Dimensions: 2-3/8 x 1-3/8 x 1 inch Compatible surface: Glass aquariums Aquarium type: Freshwater or saltwater Optional scraper: Sold separately UPC: 790950000303 Mag-Float Small Compatibility/Notes This model is designed for glass aquariums and should not be used on acrylic panels. Confirm that the aquarium glass does not exceed the manufacturer's 3/16-inch maximum thickness before use. Inspect the internal cleaning surface before every cleaning session. Sand or gravel trapped between the cleaner and aquarium glass can cause scratches. Avoid moving the internal magnet through the substrate or across damaged silicone seams. The optional Mag-Float scraper can be added when additional cleaning capability is required for stubborn deposits. The scraper accessory is not included with the Small cleaner. Mag-Float Small Directions Place the abrasive cleaning section inside the aquarium and position the external handle magnet directly opposite it. Bring the two sections together gradually to avoid sudden magnetic impact or pinched fingers. Guide the cleaner across the aquarium glass using slow overlapping passes. Keep the internal section above the substrate and inspect the pad immediately if it contacts sand, gravel or other hard debris. Move carefully around corners and aquarium trim. After use, separate the magnets by sliding or twisting them apart. Rinse collected algae and debris from the cleaning surfaces before storage or leave the cleaner attached to a convenient area of the aquarium glass.
