Making improvement requires knowing exactly how a process is performing. It also means knowing if changes had the predicted effect. Both of these things mean that in a Lean or othe r continuous improvement environment, there will be lots of measurements. Our "Managing With Metrics" module is designed to help leaders learn how to make effective use of metrics to drive improvements in their organizations. This class covers an overview of why metrics are important, how to select them, and how to use them to drive process improvement. It also covers the psychology of change that often accompanies the implementation of metrics.
