MediHerb Bacto-Cand GI’s modified release capsules contain high quality extracts of Andrographis standardised to andrographolide and Phellodendron standardised to berberine, along with oregano and anise oil. Indications Andrographis is traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine to support healthy digestion, liver function, and gastrointestinal system health. Phellodendron is traditionally used in Chinese medicine to reduce loose stools, relieve diarrhoea, resolve dampness, and disperse heat. Aniseed essential oil is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine as a carminative, relieving flatulence and abdominal bloating. Dosage and Administration 1-2 capsules 3 times daily, before food.
