Based on the famous noise gate found in the Marshall JCM800 2203KK, this pedal features high-perfo rmance optimizations that include an updated dynamics processor and audiophile-grade operational amplifiers. Utilizing the THAT4305 Analog Engine® with its internal Blackmer® voltage-controlled amplifier (VCA), Metal Gate transparently manages the noise floor while maintaining low distortion and a wide dynamic range. Metal Gate can be connected to your rig using either the 2-cable method (2CM) or 4-cable method (4CM, recommended).
