Place: Castilla y León, Spain Grape: Verdejo Vibe: Silky Absolutely insane that the "entry-level" wine comes from vines over 130 years old. There's a lot going on without sacrifici ng any freshness. The fruit is melon-like, almost banana-y, with a herbal edge and a vein of salinity running from start to finish. Those deep-rooted vines are clearly working hard!
